Nilens Jord's terms of trade are based on Denmark and Danish conditions, and Danish law and jurisdiction apply to agreements made according to these terms of trade.


1. Placing an Order
Placing an order via our website is not a legally binding agreement. Nilens Jord therefore has the opportunity to cancel your order due to printing errors, technical problems, delivery failures, and similar situations. A binding order confirmation/invoice is only sent to you when we have dispatched the goods you ordered. When you place an order via our website, our system will automatically send you an email detailing which goods you have ordered. This is merely an electronic receipt of your order. You should be aware that the automated response (via email) is not a legally binding order confirmation, by which an agreement is made. The agreement is only binding when you have received an email from Nilens Jord informing you that we have dispatched the item.


2. Payment
On Nilensjord.dk, payments can be made with Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, MobilePay, and Gift Cards. Nilens Jord Webshop does not add any fees for payment cards. In connection with the payment transaction being completed, your payment information will be stored until each payment transaction goes through. Your payment and card information is stored with Nilens Jord's chosen PCI (Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standard) certified partner, Bambora. Therefore, the information is stored in a secure PCI-certified environment that meets international safety standards until the payment transactions are completed. When you use a payment card on Nilensjord.dk, only Nilens Jord's PCI certified partner – and not Nilens Jord – has access to your card information. Processing your card information is therefore solely a matter between you and Nilens Jord's PCI certified partner, even if it happens while you are using Nilensjord.dk.


3. Delivery
We offer the following delivery methods: GLS Parcel Shop - GLS Business Delivery - GLS to private address. The expected delivery time may vary in peak periods such as Black Friday. Orders containing custom-made products will generally have a longer delivery time. Ordered products are typically sent together – there is no follow-up delivery. Nilens Jord Webshop
bears the responsibility for the goods until you have received them.  We deliver within the EU, with the exception of Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The delivery time is 3-5 working days. When choosing pickup at a parcel shop, an SMS and an email will be sent regarding the pickup time from GLS.


4. Quantity Limitations and Prohibition of Purchase with a View to Planned Resale
Nilens Jord has a quantity limitation per order for B2C customers of 10 items per product to counteract purchases through Nilensjord.dk being made with planned resale in mind. If Nilens Jord assesses that a customer has attempted to circumvent Nilens Jord's rules and generally buys with the aim of planned resale, Nilens Jord reserves the right to cancel one or more of these orders, without the customer having any claim against Nilens Jord in that regard.


5. Right of Withdrawal
Nilens Jord provides a 14-day right of withdrawal, effective from the day you receive the goods according to Danish legislation regarding distance selling. If you have purchased a product from Nilens Jord, you have the right to cancel the purchase. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you received your item. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. Notification should be made by contacting customer service at info@nilensjord.dk. In your notification, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal and provide your order number. You cannot withdraw simply by refusing to accept the item. You must also give us clear notification of this.


Christmas gifts can be returned until January 31.


5.A. Return:
You should return your order to us without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after the date you informed us that you wish to cancel your purchase. It is not possible to hand over the return item personally. The return shipping cost is borne by the buyer. All parts of an item must be returned when exchanging. When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is securely wrapped. You bear the risk for the parcel/items until we receive it. Therefore, keep the postage receipt as well as any tracking number. Nilens Jord does not accept packages sent cash on delivery.

5.B. Items Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal
The following types of products are excluded from the right of withdrawal:


  • Delivery of items that are likely to deteriorate or expire quickly
  • Gift cards (both physical and digital gift cards)

You also lose your right of withdrawal if;

  • You break the seal on items that for health protection or hygiene reasons are not suitable for return. For example, cosmetics, etc. The term “seal”
  • also includes special packaging that protects the item and serves as a guarantee that the item has not been opened

5.C. The Condition of the Item When You Send It Back
You are only liable for any depreciation of the item's value that is due to handling other than what is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item. Items without seal/packaging that have been tried are considered used, which means that you will not receive any of the purchase amount back if you withdraw from the purchase.


5.D. Refund of the Purchase Price and Return of the Item
If you regret your purchase, you will naturally receive back the amount you paid to us, including any delivery costs. In the event of a depreciation for which you are responsible, this will be deducted from the purchase price.


This does not apply in the following cases:


  • If you have purchased multiple items in one order and only regret part of your purchase, we do not refund
    delivery costs.
  • If you have chosen a delivery method that is more expensive than the cheapest delivery option we
    provide, you will not receive a refund for the additional cost.

When returning the purchased item in the event of withdrawal, you must pay the expenses for this yourself.


We will refund your payment without unnecessary delay and in any case no later than
14 days from the date we have received notification of your decision to withdraw from this agreement. We will carry out such a refund using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed to something else. Note that we may withhold the refund until we have received the item back, unless you have provided documentation for having returned it.

You must include a copy of the order confirmation. If you do not have the ability to print this out, you can provide the same information contained therein. Note that we do not accept packages sent cash on delivery.


6. Right to Complain
The rules regarding defects in the Purchase Act apply to product purchases. When you shop on nilensjord.dk, you obviously have a 24-month right to complain if there are defects in your item. This means that you can generally have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded, or receive a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation. Of course, it is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect is not due to incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior.


How do I make a complaint?
If you wish to complain about a product, you must contact Customer Service at info@nilensjord.dk. Please send us a picture of the item along with a description of the defect. You must complain within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect in the item. If you complain within two months after discovering the defect, the complaint will always be considered timely.

We need the following information when you send the item to us:

When returning the item, please provide your name, order number, and what the problem is as detailed as possible. Note! We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery or similar.

Remember that the item must always be sent back in secure packaging, and remember to get a receipt for the dispatch, so we can refund your shipping costs.


7. Privacy Policy
Nilens Jord works for the greatest possible data security and safety. The processing is done according to the rules in our Privacy Policy for Nilens Jord. Here you can read more about how your information is processed, when it is deleted, and what rights you have as a registered user. When you place an order, we need information about your name, address, phone number, email address, delivery address, and our payment provider requires your credit card/Dankort information.

We only use this information to process the order and contact you if questions arise. Only the information that is absolutely necessary is shared with third parties for the purpose of completing the order. All information is stored for 5 years, as the Accounting Act requires the storage of accounting materials for 5 years.


8. Complaints Access
If you wish to complain about your purchase, you must contact our customer service at tel: +45 4495 8000 or info@nilensjord.dk.
If we are unable to find a solution together, you can file a complaint with: The Center for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg.


Complaint Access
If you as a consumer wish to complain about your purchase, you should contact our customer service at tel: +45 4495 8000 or info@nilensjord.dk. If we are unable to find a solution, you can send a complaint to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via The Complaint Portal for Nævnenes Hus.


To be able to complain, the item or service you wish to complain about must have cost at least 1,110 DKK and no more than 100,000 DKK. For complaints about clothing and shoes, the price must have been at least 720 DKK. There is a fee to have the complaint processed.

9. Reservations and Disclaimers
Nilens Jord reserves the right for any changes in taxes, price and correction errors, technical errors, out-of-stock items, and force majeure, including labor disputes and deficiencies or delays in supplies from subcontractors.
